QUAKE-RESISTANT DESK FOR SMALL CHILDREN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quake-resistant desk for small children which has a simple structure and is strong enough not to be easily crushed when a heave thing falls down on it to protect children taking a shelter under it and save their lives at the time of an earthquake. SOLUTION: The quake-resistant desk comprises a top plate which encloses a reinforcing plate provided with a large number of punched holes, a plurality of leg sections foldably installed below the top plate and a single or a plurality of holding bard foldably installed below the center of the top plate. The leg sections and the holding bars have engaging means to keep hanging from the top plate and on all or part of the leg sections there are installed rollers or casters for transfer, which come into contact with the ground when a desk is leaned.
