PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamping tool for cooking container for clamping the cooking container without a handle, detachably mounted on a peripheral wall of the cooking container. SOLUTION: This clamping tool for cooking container 7 is constituted of a main body 2, a first clamping arm 4 fixed to the main body 2, projecting provided in front of the main body 2 having a supporting piece 3 abutting on a peripheral wall 8 of the cooking container 7, a second clamping arm 6 movably mounted in front and rear directions for the main body 2, projectingly provided in front of the main body 2, having a supporting piece 5 abutting on the peripheral wall 8 of the cooking container 7 at a front end part, an elactic body 11 incorporated into the main body 2, energizing the second clamping arm 6 to the front side of the main body 2, and an operating arm 40 mounted rotatably in relation to the main body 2. When a tip side of the operating arm 40 is rotated in a direction approaching the main body 2 with a rotary shaft 9 on the rear end side as a rotation center, the rear end side of the operating arm 40 abuts on a rear end side of the second clamping arm 6, presses the operating arm 40 toward the rear side of the main body 2 to attain the purpose by using a cam mechanism in which rotary motion of the operating arm 40 is converted into motion in front and rear directions in selection to the main body 2 of the second clamping arm 6.
