Hinge between a side-piece and an end-piece of a spectacle frame

The spectacles have a bearing housing(2) which has an entry guide opening(10) for the bow(4) and lying diametrally opposite one end of a circumferential slot(6) in the bearing housing. The bow by its free end is inserted through the guide opening into a through-hole(5) formed in the hinge pin(1) fitted in the bearing housing. The broadened extension(7) of the bow end consists of an end section of the bow pressed flat. The generated surface of the plastic hinge pin has radially protruding ribs elastically moulding themselves to the inner wall of the bearing housing.
