<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attachment for a controller, and a game machine by providing an information input means applicable to an existing home game machine or the like, easy to handle, easily operated with one hand and enabling a user to enjoy operation imitating sliding or gliding by sporting goods, a vehicle, etc. SOLUTION: The controller for the game machine can be fitted almost in a close contact state in recessed shape parts formed at the bottom parts of fitting parts 12a, 12b. The fitting parts 12a, 12b are connected to an upper plate part 11 respectively through elastically deformable hinge parts 13a, 13b. The upper plate part 11, which is formed of a rigid body, acts to restrict the distance between the fitting parts 12a, 12b within a fixed range.
