<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the effect of heat generation on the optical performance and to keep the position of a light emitting array and a focus element in the direction of optical axis with high a accuracy by absorbing heat generated from the light emitting array and a drive element efficiently. SOLUTION: The optical print head 11 comprises a substrate 2 mounting a light emitting array 3 and an element 4 for driving it, a focus element 8, and a support 13 for supporting the substrate 2 and the focus element 8 by forming a space 12 between them. Since a heat absorbing member 14 having high thermal conductivity is interposer between the driving element 4 and the focus element support 13 on the substrate while touching them, heat generated from the driving element 4 is absorbed efficiently through the heat absorbing member 14, and the effect of heat generation of the driving element 4 on the optical performance is reduced. It can be realized at a low cost through a simple arrangement.</p> |
