PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyurethane composition for forming a belt, safer to the human body than MOCA [methylenebis(o-chloroaniline)] and quickly curing a urethane prepolymer compared with the use of MOCA as the curing agent and provide a polyurethane belt made of the urethane composition and having mechanical properties, etc., comparable or superior to those of a belt produced by using MOCA as the curing agent. SOLUTION: The urethane composition for the forming of a belt is produced by compounding a urethane prepolymer with at least one kind of compound selected from aromatic diamine compounds of general formula (at least two of R1, R2 and R3 are each a 1-4C alkylthio group and the other is hydrogen) as a curing agent.
