PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the rattling in the vertical direction and the left/right direction of an upper rail and to form an opening of a long lower rail into a narrow shape. SOLUTION: The long lower rail 12 is formed of a body part 12a and an upper side part 12d forming an opening 12e. The upper rail 13 is formed of a body part 13a and a vertical wall 13e projecting upward from the center of an upper wall 13d. A slide lock mechanism 40 is so formed that a cam 46 is attached to the bottom end of a shaft 41 inserted and supported to the upper rail 13, a lock jaw 47 of the cam 46 can be engaged with a cam groove 38 of the latch 32 having a latch jaw 34 selectively locked with the latch hole 36 of the long lower rail 12 and the operation piece 44a by a rivet lock 46, and energized in the lock direction by a spring 50 attached to the top end of the shaft lock 44, thereby releasing the lock.
