PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the rattling in the vertical direction and the left/right direction of an upper rail, to having a simple structure, to dispense with increase in new components and additional works, and simply and quickly perform attachment work. SOLUTION: A latch 32 selectively locked with a plurality of lock holes 36 is made to abut on the bottom face of a bottom wall 13g of the upper rail 13. This seat slide device is provided with a holder 46 supporting the latch 32 from the bottom side of the latch 32 and a link arm 41 rotationally movably supported to a vertical wall 13e of the upper rail 13 and having a guide inclined hole 43 in the bottom side flange 41b. It is also provided with a guide pin 45 slidably stored along the guide inclined hole 43 of the link arm 4 by passing through a hole 13k bored in the holder 46, the latch 32, and the bottom wall 13g of the upper rail. The holder 46 is inserted and held in the guide groove 13n formed in the bottom wall 13g side of the upper rail 13.
