CHUCKING DEVICE FOR PACKAGED ROLL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of inserting a chucking cone into a paper sleeve without any trouble if there is a vertical misalignment between a chucking cone and the paper sleeve of a packaged roll. SOLUTION: A second arm 8 is inserted into a first arm 7 arranged almost vertically and a shaft 16 attached to the first arm 7 is passed through a slit 15 formed in the second arm 8. Then, the second arm 8 is held movable up and down in a preset range with respect to the first arm 7 and the chucking cone 10 is held at the lower end of the second arm 8. When the chucking cone 10 is inserted into the paper sleeve 2 of the packaged roll 1, no great load is applied to the package roll 1 and the chucking cone 10 because the second arm escapes upward if the axial center is offset.
