LONG PERIOD FIBER GRATING PACKAGE

PURPOSE: A long period fiber grating package is provided to maintain a stable optical characteristic independently of a change of surrounding environment. CONSTITUTION: An insertion groove(21) for inserting a long period fiber grating(11) is formed on an outer circumference of a fixing tube(20). An adhesive(22) fixes and buffers both ends of the long period fiber grating(11) formed on the fixing tube(20). A re-coating agent(23) is applied to maintain an optical characteristic of the long period fiber grating(11). A protective tube(40) is formed to protect the fixing tube(20) from the external impact. A rubber ring(30) is inserted between the fixing tube(20) and the protective tube(40) in order to absorb the vibration and impact to the protect tube(40). A sealing member is used for sealing both ends of the protective tube(40).
