PURPOSE: A device for supporting paper money of a cash drawer for a cash register is provided to reduce the manufacturing cost by simplifying a supporting instrument and to supply convenience by composing the supporting instrument, which can keep the paper money by making it stand to the width direction. CONSTITUTION: The device for supporting paper money of the cash drawer for the cash register includes a drawer(150), many fixed section plates(160) and many insertion and removal section plates(170). The drawer(150) is installed in a housing possible to be slid. The fixed section plates(160) and the insertion and removal section plates(170) divide the inside of the drawer(150) into the appointed spaces. The fixed section plates(160) are fixed on the inside of the drawer(150) and are divided into a space(151), in which the coins are kept, and a space, in which the paper money is kept. A supporting instrument supports the paper money, which is kept in the drawer(150).
