PURPOSE: A CCD(Charge Coupled Device) solid state image sensor driver is provided to reduce cost and to enhance a yield rate while maintaining the stable operation of a CCD. CONSTITUTION: A power supply circuit consists of a low-voltage generating charge pump(210), a high-voltage generating charge pump(220) and a control section(230). The power supply circuit applies prescribed boosted voltage(VSS) to a vertical driver(240) of a drive circuit and an electronic shutter(250). The control section of the power supply circuit applies thinning control to a boosted voltage clock(CLK) to apply constant voltage control to the voltage. The power supply circuit and the drive circuit are configured in one chip as a power supply/drive circuit IC(Integrated Circuit,200). The boosted voltage clock is applied to the power supply/drive circuit IC only for a period when a video signal output from a CCD image sensor(100) is stopped.
