The invention concerns cytostatic agents which are more tumor-specific as a result of modification with carbohydrates. Urea or dicarboxylic acid units as appropriate spacers ensure serum stability and simultaneous intracellular effect. The compounds according to the invention have formula (I): K - Sp- L - AA1 - AA2 - C, wherein K represents an unsubstituted or regioselectively modified carbohydrate radical; Sp represents an optionally substituted arylene or alkylene; L represents a group of formula (a); AA1 represents a direct bond or an amino acid radical in the D or L configuration, optionally having protective groups or a second K-Sp-L grouping, in which K, Sp, L are independent from the other K-Sp-L grouping and may have the meaning cited above; AA2 represents a direct bond or an amino acid radical in the D or L configuration, optionally having protective groups or a second K-Sp-L grouping, in which K, Sp, L are independent from the other K-Sp-L grouping and may have the meaning cited above and C represents a cytostatic radical or the radical of a cytostatic agent or cytostatic agent derivative additionally having a hydroxy or amino group. |
