NON-POWER DIGITAL SIGNATURE DEVICE BASED ON FINGERPRINT RECOGNITION

PURPOSE: A non-power digital signature device based on a fingerprint recognition is provided to use a scanned fingerprint code as a personal identification number by comparing scanned fingerprint code with a stored reference fingerprint code and deciding an admission for an access to an electronic signature creating key being stored in an electronic signature possessor. CONSTITUTION: A non-volatile memory(10) stores an electronic signature creating key necessary for an electronic signature and a reference fingerprint code for a personal identification number. An external communication unit(20) provides an electronic connection for receiving a power source from the exterior and providing a communication connection for providing the electronic signature creating key to an electronic signature service unit. A fingerprint scanner(30) scans a fingerprint of a signer and prepares a sensing fingerprint code. A fingerprint sensing unit(40) compares the prepared sensing fingerprint code with the reference fingerprint code and permits an access to the electronic signature creating key. An electronic signature control unit(50) scans the signer's fingerprint and controls for preparing a sensing fingerprint code through the fingerprint scanner(30) in accordance with applying a power source from the external communication unit(20). If the signer's identity is confirmed, the electronic signature control unit(50) controls for providing the electronic signature creating key to the electronic signature service unit through the external communication unit(20) by comparing the reference fingerprint code with the fingerprint sensing code.
