A coating for coating paper or the like, the use of the coating, and a method for making the coating. The coating is made by mixing together two different pigment mixes, which contain minerals. The first mix is made by mixing a mineral material, such as calcium carbonate, kaolin, titanium dioxide, gypsum, talc and/or another corresponding material used as a pigment, and a binding agent, such as synthetic polymer, latex and/or another corresponding binding agent. The second mix is made by mixing a second mineral material, which mainly comprises talc particles and/or other phyllosilicate particles, and a second binding agent, such as a synthetic polymer, latex and/or another corresponding binding agent. |
