METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR HOLDING PRIMARY COIL BOBBIN FOR ELECTRIC SIGN LIGHTING TRANSFORMER CORE

PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for holding a primary coil bobbin for an electric sign lighting transformer core is provided to enhance performance of a product by preventing noise and flux leakage. CONSTITUTION: A secondary coil case, a leakage core and a primary core are successively connected. A lower core body is attached on a lower end part of a core member. A key is pressurized on a primary coil bobbin to firmly hold the lower core body. A primary coil case and the primary coil bobbin are inserted into a central core body of the core member. The leakage core is interposed between the primary coil bobbin and a lower surface of the primary coil case. A support jaw is downwardly protruded on a side of an inserting part of the primary coil bobbin. A key hole is longitudinally formed on other side of the inserting part. The key is inserted into the key hole. A side surface of the lower core body is closely attached on the support jaw. Other side surface of the lower core body is closely attached on the key.
