Support devices (10, 310, 120), for enabling a wearer to roll along in a kneeling position, are shaped to receive a knee or elbow joint and comprise wheels or rollers (12, 322, 122, 124) on a lower surface and attachment means (19, 341, 346, 129) or an upper surface. The attachment means may comprise a loop of elasticated material (341) for passing around the wearer's joint, the longitudinal edges (342) of the material being held between a lower part (330) of the device (310) and an upper cushioning part (360). Attachment straps (19, 346, 129) may be provided instead or in addition. Wheeled support devices (60) may also be provided for the hands. An item (100) of footwear has wheels (112) on the surface which is uppermost when the wearer is walking but faces the ground when the wearer is in a kneeling position. |
