PURPOSE: To provide a method for packaging nuts, capable of packaging hollow nuts in order without intertwisting them, and simply packaging them and taking them out of a package when used, without causing deformation and damage of their flat arms. CONSTITUTION: A nut 1 comprises two flat arms 5 provided opposingly in parallel with each other, each extending from a planar head 3 having a through-hole 2 toward one face side, and a prismatic nut body 8 whose two faces are restricted by the two flat arms 5, which is freely supported due to a through- groove 4 provided in each flat arm 5 so as to be capable of being rotatively operated only in an open direction, and which has a female screw 7 extending through a substantially central portion of the nut body. By a method wherein at least a face of the nut body 8, which is positioned in the rotatably operating direction thereof, is forcibly inserted under pressure into a groove 22 of a package 21 having elasticity, which is narrower than the thickness of the nut body 8 in its rotatably operating direction, the hollow nuts 1 can be packaged in order without being intertwisted with one another.
