PURPOSE: A method for controlling a sampling phase of an LCD control system is provided, which can control the sampling phase with a less complicate and easy method, and thus can set a correct phase on an ADC(Analog Digital Converter) in the LCD control system. CONSTITUTION: According to the method, an accurate sampling frequency is set before controlling a sampling phase. Otherwise, the control of the sampling phase can be influenced(S100). Then, a range of the sampling phase is set(S110), and an image characteristic value(C) is calculated under another sampling phase(S120). And the largest image characteristic value is selected by comparing all of the image characteristic values(S130). And, the sampling phase is set using the largest image characteristic value as a correct sampling phase(S140).
