<p>PURPOSE:To provide the method for processing encoded/decoded image by which the degradation of picture quality can be suppressed at a minimum when performing processing such as editing or encoding in multisteps to a decoded image signal for which a code sequence obtd. by the highly efficient encoding of an image signal is decoded. CONSTITUTION:An image decoding part 3 decodes a code sequence 2 which is obtd. by the highly efficient encoding of the image signal. In this case, an encoding parameter extracting part 5 extracts an encoded parameter 6 at the time of encoding a decoded image 4 to be processed and while referring to the extracted encoded parameter 6, an image processing part 6 performs the editing of the decoded image 4 or the like and outputs an image processed signal 8.</p> |
