The invention relates to a device (100) for the passage of air for installing in an opening in a wall of a housing in which components that generate waste heat are located, e.g. an electronic cabinet, a switchgear cabinet, a housing system or a computer housing. The device comprises a base housing (10), a cover housing (30) and a filter mat (60) which is supported in said cover housing (30). The base housing (10) has at least one tongue element (50) for engaging in the opening in the housing wall. Said at least one tongue element is situated only on the upper side (12) of the base housing (10) while at least one clamping wedge is located on the lower side of the base housing (10) opposite. The at least one clamping wedge and the at least one tongue element interact and hold the device for the passage of air (100) on the wall of the housing with a peripheral edge of the opening in said wall. |
