PURPOSE: To provide an operating pattern switching valve apparatus for switching a pilot operation, which is simple in construction and compact in structure. CONSTITUTION: The operation pattern switching valve apparatus is comprised of a set of four pilot fluid input channels, quartets of output channels by operating a pattern, right and left flow distribution housings (31, 21), rotary type operating pattern selecting valves (50, 40), and a unified flow distributing portion. The set of four pilot fluid input channels are formed for four pilot valves (71a,..., 71d) for a left operating lever at four operation locations thereof, and for four pilot valves (73a,..., 73d) for a right operating lever at four operation locations thereof. The output channel set of four are connected to one of the input channel quartets depending on the operating pattern. The right and left flow distribution housings (31, 21) have respective selected valve insertion holes (33, 23) for switching connection between each input set four quartet and each output channel quartet. The rotary type operating pattern selecting valves (50, 40) are arranged in respective right and left insertion holes (33, 23), for connecting one of the input channel quartets to selected one of the output channel quartets. The unified flow distributing portion is arranged between the right and left flow distribution housing 31, 21, for selecting one of the output channel quartets to be connected to one of actuator control valves 74, 75, 76, 77, which are common for the right and left, and unifying the selected one output channel quartet to the eight output channels to the four types of the actuator control valves 74, 75, 76, 77.
