PURPOSE: An ion generator with a remote sensing function through the Internet is provided to adjust a generating rate of a negative ion and a positive ion of an ion generator automatically by introducing a pulse width modulating control method capable of being controlled by a program. CONSTITUTION: A controller generates a control signal needed at a high voltage unit. An emitter stores a high voltage generating circuit(205) for generating an ion. An adjusting switch is mounted in the controller for adjusting an ion generating quantity in non-automatically. In addition, a socket is mounted in the controller for an Internet connection and an emitter connection. A high voltage pin for generating an ion is protruded at the emitter, and the pin is connected to the controller by a cable. The controller comprises a micro processor(201) including functions as the Internet connection and a control of the control signal, a main memory(204), a control signal generating unit(202) for transmitting the control signal to the emitter, and an error detecting unit(203) for sensing an error generated in the emitter. An error signal is transmitted from a feedback signal being designed in the high voltage unit.
