PURPOSE: A method and structure for connecting an MI(Mineral Insulated) cable is provided to prevent an insulated condition on a connecting point from being damaged. CONSTITUTION: A cold lead section is cut by as long as 300mm or more. One end of the cold lead section is sealed with a waterproof contractible tube. A cable end is cut by as long as 12mm to remove a coat. Epoxy is filled, and the waterproof contractible tube is removed when the epoxy is dried after a predetermined is passed after the epoxy is filled. Heat is applied to the end of the cable to remove moisture. A line of an MI cable and a line of a non-heating cable are welded. Magnesium Oxide is fully filled through a center hole of a splice kit and the center hole is processed with a bolt. A head portion of the bolt inserted into the center hole is removed, welded and completely sealed. A flux on the welded portion is removed by using a sandpaper.
