<p>PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition composed of a pearl pigment, a water-soluble resin having a specific glass transition temperature, a colorant and water, exhibiting excellent effect on e.g. the prevention of the formation of a hard cake of pearl pigment after the lapse of a long period and giving a written mark having excellent pearlescent appearance. CONSTITUTION: This ink composition is composed of (A) a pearl pigment preferably having an average particle diameter of <=15μm, (B) a resin having a glass transition temperature of >=80 deg.C and containing a homopolymer or copolymer of preferably styrene, acrylonitrile or an acrylic acid ester preferably in the form of an emulsion and/or an alkali-neutralized salt, (C) a colorant consisting of an organic pigment or an inorganic pigment and (D) water. The content of each component in the composition is preferably 10-20wt.% for the component A, 5-40wt.% for the component B in terms of solid component and 0.5-5wt.% for the component C.</p> |
