<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive means making a display signal driving device digital signal drive with a simple structure, eliminating a voltage generation circuit at every gradation and hardly being affected by dispersion in an element characteristic. SOLUTION: A reference voltage Vramp, two MOS transistors 11, 12 and a liquid crystal cell 10 are connected respectively in series, and the gate of the MOS transistor 11 is connected to scan signal wiring 21i, and the gate of the MOS transistor 12 is connected to display signal wiring 22j and the reference voltage Vramp is made be provided with an output waveform making width of a pulse wave of a scan side drive circuit a period. When a scan signal is applied to the scan signal wiring 21, by controlling application of a display signal to the display signal wiring 22j, the switching of two MOS transistors 11, 12 are controlled, and an output of a required size among the reference voltages connected to the liquid crystal cell 10 is applied to the liquid crystal 10.</p> |
