PURPOSE: A broadcasting method and system in accordance with a user's preference are provided to enhance advertisement effect by providing a suitable type broadcasting and an advertising method in accordance with user's preference, age, sex, and occupation. CONSTITUTION: If a user inputs information on an input window through a remote controller(S1), the information is transmitted to a processing unit through a remote controller light-interception unit. The processing unit stores the initially inputted information to a self-database and codes into transmitting available digital signal(S2) and transmits the signal to a transmitting unit and the transmitting unit transmits the digital signal to a broadcasting station(S3). The receiving unit transmits the digital signal to a server and the server stores the signal in a database(S4). The server compares information as a manufactured program and an advertisement with information being stored in the database and reforms the information adapted to user's preference, and codes image information and sound information thereof into a digital signal and creates a reformed program and an advertisement formation list(S5). The digital signal is coded(S6) and transmitted through the transmitting unit(S7). The digital signal is received to the receiving unit and the receiving unit transmits the signal to the processing unit, and the processing unit decodes the digital signal(S8). Thus, information of the forming list, the program, and the image information and sound information of the advertisement are transmitted to a display unit and displayed(S9).
