THROW-AWAY DIAPER OF SHORTS TYPE

PURPOSE: To provide a throw-away diaper of a shorts type which may be kept rounded so as to prohibit the leakage of excreta and smells in discarding. CONSTITUTION: Tapes 12 for fastening which can keep the throw-away diaper 1 of the shorts type rounded are arranged at both side edges 1a and 1b in an area 22 around the rear waist of the diaper 1 and the respective tapes 12 are formed of first segments 12a extending in a longitudinal direction in parallel to both side edges 1a and 1b and second segments 12b branching from the first segment 12a and extending in a longitudinal direction. Both ends 12a1 in the longitudinal direction of the first segments 12a are fastened to edges 8 of an opening 6 around the waist and edges 9 of an opening 7 around the leg. Engagement areas which are engageable and disengageable with and from the one outer peripheral surface of the rounded diaper 1 are formed in the second segments 12b.
