PURPOSE: A method for casting a housing for front and rear by arranging discharge space of impurities and gas during pouring molten metal and supplying a sufficient amount of molten metal during cooling is provided, which inhibits the generation of contraction cavity and prevents the generation of crack and bending caused by casting deformation. CONSTITUTION: In casting conventional housing for front and rear, a chiller(10) is installed at the four parts of a lower ring part(2a) of a housing and at the lower part of both end parts, four risers(21) are diagonally installed on an outer surface of the ring part, one riser(22) is installed in the central part of the housing, two to four auxiliary risers(23) are installed at the outside of the riser(22), one riser(24) is installed at the end part of both ends(1, 1a) of the housing, two risers(25) are installed at both sides of the riser(24), two risers(26) are installed at both sides of a pipe and a plus type reinforcing rod(27) is formed at the ring part of the lower opening part of the housing.
