摘要 PURPOSE: A spherical mounting system is provided to adjust an optical projection assembly of a projection type TV by rotating the assembly around three axial directions in order to correct the geometry error of an image of the projection TV. CONSTITUTION: A mounting system(10) adjusts an optical projection assembly(22) of a projection TV(20) by rotating the assembly around the three axial directions. The mounting system has a spherical wall and a spherical bracket matting with the spherical wall by sliding. The spherical bracket is movable relative to the spherical wall. The spherical wall and the spherical bracket collaborate mutually so that the optical projection assembly may be rotated around three axes. The motion of the optical projection assembly is restricted to a part of a route on the spherical surface. The image on a screen(24) of the projection TV generated by the optical projection assembly is adjusted to the desired geometry without affecting the centering of the image.
