PURPOSE: An ignition button system of automatic lamp display method is provided to operate an ignition button conveniently without checking character- or picture-used contents of the ignition button by lighting on/off a lamp with the ignition button of a burner immediately when a cooking vessel is laid on a heat plate. CONSTITUTION: A support blade is kept rotated up centering on a rotatable shaft normally by elasticity of a switch(H) on a gas range panel. When the load of a cooking vessel is applied to the upper portion of the support blade, the support blade is rotated down centering on the rotatable shaft again. The bottom surface of the blade operates the switch. On the contrary, the support blade is pushed up by the switch and separated from the switch when the cooking vessel is removed. Thereby, the support blade is returned to the original position. When the switch is pushed, a lamp operating circuit is connected and a lamp(L) of an ignition button is lighted on. Then the lamp is lighted off when the circuit is isolated after 10sec. The lamp is not mixed with other ignition button lamps by considering time intervals when a user selects another burner. A timer(T) is a unit operated by a pulse signal of the switch on a gas range. The timer feeds an excitation current to a relay and lights on the lamp. After that, the timer lights off the lamp by isolating the excitation current. Therefore, the user operates the ignition button easily in a dark plate.
