VIRTUAL MUSIC IMAGE SYSTEM AND IMAGE DISPLAYING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A virtual music image system and an image displaying method are provided to generate a virtual image for change in music through deciding a sound pattern for the input music. CONSTITUTION: A virtual music image system is formed by a high fourie convert unit(11), a music beat detect unit(12), a sound pattern decide unit(13), and an image mapping unit(14). The fourie convert unit performs a fourie conversion for an input sound wave for analyzing the sound wave into plural audible frequencies. The beat detect unit detects onset points of beats through measuring changing degree of power for each frequency band. The sound pattern decide unit decides pattern of sound according to distribution characteristic of the frequencies. The image mapping unit performs mapping operation of sound pattern information decided by the sound pattern decide unit for displaying as three-dimensional images.
