<p>PURPOSE: To provide a display system enabling display of a large volume of image data without decreasing the number of frames by changing over a driving system from line-sequential scanning to interlaced scanning when a compression ratio is equal to or less than a certain value. CONSTITUTION: When an image display device performs interlaced scanning, the image display system is provided with (n-1) pieces of buffers corresponding to the number of lines to be grouped, to eliminate delay in displaying by delaying a display time of an image display part by a period for displaying (n-1) pieces of scanning lines, and moreover, the blocks once transitioned to the interlaced scanning state are continuously scanned interlaced through 2n pieces of frames corresponding to the number of lines n to be grouped at least, thereby controls an average voltage in an pixel part to 0.</p> |
