<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved processing method for mineral insulated conductors, where an insulator is stripped from a mineral insulated conductor comprising at least one wire or a band-shaped electrical conductor, mineral powder, and a metal housing tube having a wall thickness of 'a', the mineral insulated conductor is cut, and danger of damaging the internal electrical conductor that accompanies conventional processing methods is eliminated. SOLUTION: The housing tube is processed on at least one circumferential processing line by laser cutting and is then processed on at least one axial processing line, starting at the circumferential processing line, by leaser cutting. Thereafter, the mineral insulated conductor is processed by ultrasonic waves.</p> |
