<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a liquid crystal dispaly device to perform a uniform display even when it performs a high-definition display and to broaden the range of use temperatures. SOLUTION: A signal wiring 12b is preliminarily formed on a signal wiring 12a through an insulating film in the active martrix of a MIM driving system. Moreover, MIM elements 16a, 16b are respectively formed as two-terminal nonlinear elements among respective pixel electrodes 17 and signal wirings 12a, 12b. When ranges of use temperatures of the MIM elements 16a, 16b are changed, since it is possible to drive a pixel electrode 17 by changing over the MIM elements 16a, 16b while selecting the signal wirings 12a, 12b impressing a driving signal, the range of use temperatures of the display device can be broadened. It is possible to make the display device perform the uniform display by suppressing display unevenness of the device while adjusting so that resistance values of the signal wirings 12a, 12b and/or the MIM elements 16a, 16b become equal till respective pixel electrodes 17.</p> |
