摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine controller of a multiple-cylinder engine capable of completely burning the fuel in a second cycle in cooperation with a variable valve timing adjusting mechanism and/or a swirl control valve by controlling an amount of the fuel in the second cycle from the start of the fuel injection- type engine of a multipoint injection system for every cylinder. SOLUTION: In this engine controller for a multiple cylinder engine having a fuel injection pulse width setting means for setting the furl injection pulse width of a fuel injection valve mounted on each cylinder on the bases of an output signal from an engine operating condition detecting means, the furl injection pulse width setting means is provided with a starting injection pulse width setting means for setting the fuel injection pulse width at the start of the engine at every cylinder, and the starting injection pulse width setting means is provided with a fuel injection pulse width correcting means for determining a correction coefficient to the fuel basic injection pulse width at every cylinder in each cycle.</p>
