PURPOSE: An apparatus for setting a reference wavelength of an optical channel monitoring module is provided to obtain a stable reference wavelength by uniformly maintaining intensity of an ASE used when setting the reference wavelength. CONSTITUTION: An illuminant device module(90) outputs a wideband light according to an input of an illuminance on signal. An optical coupler(10) couples the wideband light and an optical signal including an ASE and outputs the coupled optical signal. An optical fiber grid(20) filters the optical signal and the ASE to be incident from the optical coupler(10). A variable filter(30) detects a reference wavelength set in the optical fiber grid(20) and an inputted optical signal, and outputs a wavelength of a corresponding optical signal set according to the supply of a driving voltage and the reference wavelength. A variable filter driving unit(80) supplies the driving voltage to the variable filter(30) according to the input of a filter control signal. A photo diode(40) converts an error optical signal provided from the variable filter(30) into an electric signal and outputs the electric signal. A controller(60) outputs the illuminance on signal when setting the reference wavelength, and outputs the filter control signal for monitoring a certain optical signal, and monitors a corresponding optical signal from the electric signal outputted from the photo diode(40).
