PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer system, a printer and a host computer to enable printing without performing a complicated operation on application by a user. SOLUTION: When a printing start switch in an operation part 112 of the printer is depressed, its information is transmitted to the host computer which is not illustrated, the host computer starts a printer driver based on the information on start of printing, develops printing data of the application currently under operation to image data, outputs the data to the printer and the printing is started in the printer.
