PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation apparatus, where the map of a place having no relation to a searched recommended route itself is not displayed widely on a screen and addition data is not displayed in a state superposed on the recommended route and the map in the periphery thereof. SOLUTION: The navigation apparatus is equipped with a distination setting means 41, a setting means 42 for setting the range of the screen of an image display means 22 having to display the route reaching a distination, means 43, 44 for obtaining addition data to be displayed on the screen of the image display means 22, a searching means 45 for searching the route reaching the destination, display processing means 46, 47, 48, 49, 50 for displaying the route on the range set by the setting means 42 of the screen of the image display means 22 along with a map and displaying the addition data on an area other than this range and a guide means performing guidance along the route. |
