PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbonaceous material for electrode of secondary battery wherein an irreversible capacity at the time of the initial charge/discharge can be reduced with an inexpensive manufacturing cost, and provide a manufacturing method of such carbonaceous materials for the electrode. SOLUTION: In a vacuum or in an inert gas atmosphere, carbonaceous materials are heated at not less than 50 deg.C, preferably at 800 deg.C or below and by supplying a gas containing either or both of amine and ammonia to let it react with carbonaceous materials. |
