PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera which is improved in operability and which has a data input function and a photographing image display function. SOLUTION: The camera is provided with a rotary ring mounted to an outer face of a photographing lens mirror barrel, a ring rotation detection means that detects a rotary position of this rotary ring, a data recording medium that stores plural data elements and records the data consisting of the data elements to an image recording medium as attached data apart from photographed image data, a mode selection member that selects a photographing mode where an image is recorded on an image recording medium via a photographing optical system or a data entry mode where data entry to the image recording medium can be attained by the data recording means, and a rotary ring function revision means that activates the rotary ring like a photographing condition revision ring to revise a photographing condition in response to its rotary position when the mode selection member selects the photographing mode or activates rotary ring like a data selection ring to select the data element recorded on the image recording medium by the data recording means depending on its rotary position when the mode selection member selects the data entry mode. |
