PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the light controlling accuracy specially at the time of small light emission in a stroboscope device by which light control can be performed. SOLUTION: An overrun light quantity after stopping light emission is predicted based on a target emitted light quantity, and correction to quicken the light emission stop timing is performed in accordance with the overrun light quantity. In this case, a ratio (light emission ratio) between the target emitted light quantity and the full emitted light quantity of a light-emitting means is obtained, and it is desirable to predict the overrun light quantity after stopping the light emission based on the light emission ratio. Also, it is desirable to perform the correction of the light emission stop timing for every chopper light emission at the time of split light emission. |
