PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processor in which the procedure of installation is simple. SOLUTION: In a Windows NT, it is necessary to provide a kernel mode device driver 5 for performing access to hardware. In this case, the kernel mode device driver 5 for performing access to hardware 6 in a kernel mode 2 is embedded inside a DLL 4 for performing interface with an application 3 in a user mode 1. Thus, it is possible to call the kernel mode driver 5 only by apparently performing access from the application 3 to the DLL 4, and it is possible to directly control the hardware 6 by the called kernel mode driver 5.
