PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom switching device capable of attaining the reduction of the diameter of a lens barrel and the reduction of the thickness of the lens barrel, even in the case of performing high magnification zoom switching by a single motor. SOLUTION: The zoom switching device is provided with a 1st cam barrel 14 with a 1st cam groove which is provided with plural zooming areas and plural focusing areas and prepared for the purpose of moving a 1st lens unit 31 in an optical axis direction and a 2nd cam groove which is provided with plural zooming areas and plural focusing areas and prepared for purpose of moving the 2nd lens unit 32 in the optical axis direction, and a 2nd cam barrel 13 with a 3rd cam groove which is provided with plural zooming areas and plural focusing areas and prepared for the purpose of moving the 1st cam barrel 14 in the optical axis direction in accordance with the engagement with a pin 25 formed on the 1st cam barrel 14, and a rotating mechanism for rotating the 1st cam barrel 14.
