PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary type boring machine device for excavating a shallow layer capable of lightly and movably sampling unturbulent soil sample at a shallow depth of 10 m to 15 m under the ground. SOLUTION: A lift frame is perpendicularly lifted from a base frame in a horizontal attitude, and a lift table moving up and down along the lift frame is installed, and a drive means for moving up and down the lift table is provided. The lift table is provided with a chuck mechanism for chucking a boring rod and a drive means for rotating the chuck mechanism. Wheels for locomotion are arranged in the rear end sections of the base frame with a part of each wheels protruded, and a handle is arranged along the lift frame on the wheel side.
