SOLUTION: An entrance port or an exit port or an entrance and exit port 55 of a vehicle V is arranged on the opposite side of a vehicle carrier body 58 to carry out transfer and placing of the vehicle V by traverse conveyors 60f, 60r between itself and the berth 52 by sandwiching a berth 52 between them by arranging a turn table 12 having the traverse conveyors 60f, 60r and free to revolve on the berth 52, and a car road 59 against the berth 52 is constituted so as to eliminate it in a direction orthogonal with a lateral delivering direction of the vehicle V by the traverse conveyors 60f, 60r and to eliminate a car road for directional change.
