BASE ISOLATION STRUCTURING METHOD FOR EXISTING BUILDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base isolation structuring method for an existing building in a short period of construction for base isolation structuring work. SOLUTION: A base isolation device 12 is inserted at a position above an existing beam 2. This invention is furnished with a process to fix a temporary receiver crossbeam 5 with a specified interval on the existing beam 2 on a side surface all columns 1 of an existing building, a process to arrange a fluid jack 7 between the exiting beam 2 and the temporary receiver crossbeam 5, a process to divide all the columns 1 respectively into an upper part column 1a and a lower part column 1b by cutting all the columns 1 at a position 9 on a lower surface of the temporary receiver crossbeam 5, a process to provide a space between the upper part column 1a and the lower part column 1b by lifting up the temporary receiver crossbeam 5 by the fluid jack 7, a process to insert a base isolation device 12 into the space and a process to connect the upper part column 1a and the lower part column 1b by lowering the temporary receiver crossbeam 5 by the fluid jack 7.
