PURPOSE: An exhaust filter of a vacuum cleaner is provided to restrain movement of odor elements contained in exhaust air and to enhance pleasantness. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust filter(100) comprises an air filter(110), a moisture absorption filter(120), and an odor removal filter(130). A high efficiency filter is preferably used as an air filter to filter dust contained in air. The moisture absorption filter is constituted of silica gel absorbing the surrounding moisture. The odor removal filter is an optical catalytic filter. Odor components included in air are removed by the moisture adsorption filter and the odor removal filter. Even if air is discharged from a vacuum cleaner while odor components are removed incompletely, kinetic energy of the air is reduced by passing through the moisture adsorption filter removing heat from the high temperature air. Therefore, odor removal efficiency is improved.
