PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display the state of a job by newly generating a job history at the time when number of job histories for the first set exceeds a prescribed preservation number in the case of the second print and following sets of electronic sort to which trial print is set in a printer having an electronic sort function. SOLUTION: When the second and following sets of electronic sort in to be printed, a user retrieves his or her job history from job histories preserved in a storage part 11. When the user cannot find his or her own job history in the storage part 11 because the number of job histories exceeds the prescribed preservation number, the user generates a new job history to update preserved job history with this new job history. |
