PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an operator to always use the latest check tool even when a data check tool necessary for a DTP progress is updated. SOLUTION: This system for automatically updating a DTP check tool is constituted of a tool server for holding the latest DTP check tool and a tool starting means for starting the DTP check tool on a DTP work client connected through a network to the server. In starting the DTP check tool existing in the DTP work client, the tool starting means checks whether or not the tool is the latest version, and when the tool is not the latest version, locally copies the latest edition of the check tool to the DTP work client, and then starts the toll.
